What is green energy?

The green energy comes in many forms and one of them would be from renewable energy sources. In these sources for renewable energy we can distinguish several general categories like biomass, hydro, wind and solar; however, all the renewable sources for energy come from the sun. Coal and oil energies also originate from the light of the sun, but these sources for renewable energy are not considered as such because the fact that they are taking quite a lot of time (more than millions of years)
